We started feeding OptiVive to our 15-year-old Thoroughbred broodmare as a last resort to improve her mobility and mood.

Before her last foal in December, she showed signs of laminitis and was in severe pain due to the foal’s weight. As a former racehorse with poor feet, carrying a larger-than-usual foal only worsened her condition. After foaling, she continued to suffer from hoof inflammation, limited mobility, and increased aggression toward people and other horses, becoming overly protective of her foal.

After just two days on OptiVive, we noticed a significant improvement in her mood—she was no longer aggressive and seemed much happier. By day seven, her mobility had also improved. While she remains foot sore, she’s moving more freely and beginning to look like a normal horse again.

We’re excited to see her continued progress and now have a much more positive outlook on her future. Given its success, we’ve also started feeding Superdose to our other horses.

My team competes up to 1.15–1.20m and has achieved great results since starting on Optivive, all stepping up confidently. They look and feel amazing, but the biggest transformation has been in my mare, who showed unexplained symptoms even vets couldn’t diagnose.
